Castle Fortress Walls and Catapult
๐Ÿ“ธ Fortress Yard: Operate the wooden catapult to launch stones or launch Bob himself!

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Step-by-Step Level walkthrough

Stage 1: Smashing the Lock

  • Walkthrough: Drop into the castle courtyard. You will find a wooden gate barred by a metal lock. Pick up a loose cobblestone from the ground, lift it above Bob’s head, and slam it down repeatedly onto the lock until it shatters. Open the gate.

Stage 2: The Catapult Siege โญ Key Puzzle

  • Standard Walkthrough:
    1. Locate the giant wooden catapult. Grab the crank wheel and turn it clockwise to lower the catapult sling to the ground.
    2. Pick up a large boulder and place it inside the sling.
    3. Pull the release lever on the catapult to launch the boulder. The impact will smash a hole in the far castle wall.
    4. Repeat the cranking process, but this time, climb into the sling yourself. Pull the release lever (or have a multiplayer friend do it) to launch Bob across the gap and through the broken wall.

Stage 3: The Windmill Sails

  • Walkthrough:
    1. Cross the bridge and climb the stairs to the large windmill.
    2. Reach out and grab one of the rotating wooden sails as it sweeps near the ground.
    3. Ride the sail upward. As you reach the peak of its rotation, release your grip and jump onto the castle rampart platform on the left.

Stage 4: Tower Bell & The Zipline

  • Walkthrough:
    1. Climb the winding staircase inside the high keep. You will reach a belfry with a giant copper bell. Grab the clapper and swing it back and forth to ring the bell for an achievement.
    2. Step out onto the balcony. Grab the wooden handle of the zipline with both hands.
    3. Jump off the balcony and slide along the rope to the opposite side of the fortress.
    4. Land on the high ramparts, open the heavy double doors, and drop into the cavern vortex to exit the level.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tips & Glitch Hacks

ใ€Catapult Launch Skip & Rotation Climbingใ€‘
Advanced speedrunners can skip the entire windmill and tower climb. By launching Bob with the catapult at a specific angle, you can clear the entire canyon and land directly on the exit castle ramparts. Alternatively, you can use "rotation climbing" (grabbing with one hand, spinning Bob 180 degrees, and grabbing higher with the free hand) on the fortress stone walls to scale the gates in seconds.

๐Ÿ† Hidden Achievements & Easter Eggs

  1. ๐Ÿฐ For Whom the Bell Tolls: Ring the giant church bell in the high belfry. You can do this by grabbing the clapper and hitting it against the bell wall, or throwing a stone at it.
  2. โ˜„๏ธ Improvised Ammo: Launch yourself using the catapult. Make sure you land safely on the far side of the wall after the launch.
  3. ๐Ÿƒ Smooth Moves: In the alleyway with the lanterns, parkour across the tops of all the lanterns and ledges without touching the ground to reach the opposite balcony.
  4. ๐Ÿš  Zipline: Use the belfry zipline. You must hold onto the bar all the way to the far side of the rope to trigger it.
